Welcome to Texas is a love story about unusual people. Tuula and Upi are a married couple, but together they are also the head of a gang of criminals – like Bonnie and Clyde, except that they didn’t die, but had a family, bought a house and settled to live in their hometown, Kotka, near the eastern border of Finland.

Welcome to Texas is a Finnish crime drama about a family that lives like any other family with a family business – except the business in professional crime. The Russian mob, human trafficking and competing drug traffickers make both the business and family life dangerous.

Welcome to Texas is the first Finnish original series of the MTV Katsomo streaming service (formerly C More). Starring in the show are Maria Ylipää and Turkka Mastomäki. Maria Ylipää won the Finnish TV Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Tuula.
